Welcome to The Whistler Sliding Centre in the beautiful Fitzsimmons valley on the southeast slope of Blackcomb Mountain. The Whistler Sliding Centre is the site of the bobsleigh, luge and skeleton competitions for the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games.

This high performance, world-class sliding sports venue includes a 1,450 metre long competition track, as well as venue support buildings.

Tour The Whistler Sliding Centre this Summer!
Explore this Olympic competition venue with guided and self-guided tours in the final summer before the 2010 Winter Games.  Open Thursday through Monday, from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.  Guided tours run daily at 1:00pm.

Congratulations to all participants from the Visa Canadian Bobsleigh Championships; Kallie Humphries took home gold in Women's Bobsleigh, Pierre Lueders was first in 2-Man Bobsleigh and Lyndon Rush was the 4-Man Bobsleigh winner!

Canadian Luge Championships held at Whistler!
Congratulations to all participants from the Canadian Luge Championships, first place honours went to Sam Edney (Men's Singles), Alex Gough (Women's Singles), the Moffat brothers (Doubles) and Tyler Seitz (Masters division).  Complete results.

Thank you to all those new sliding sport fans that contributed to the great energy and enthusiasm at our successful Bobsleigh/Skeleton and Luge World Cup competitions!  Visit www.whistlerbobsleighskeleton.com or www.whistlerluge.com to view the results!  Our official track speed record 153.98 km/h was clocked by a single men's luge athlete during competition Feb. 21st!
