Whistler Sliding Centre
The Whistler Sliding Centre was the site of bobsleigh, luge, and skeleton competitions for the 2010 Olympic Games. This high performance sliding sports venue is now a legacy that offers exciting and unique experiences for groups to enjoy year round.

Sliding Viewing
Guests are provided with the opportunity to view bobsleigh, luge, and skeleton athletes during training runs. Spectators are amazed at the speeds the athletes reach and are thrilled with the experience of watching this exhilarating sport on the fastest sliding track in the world.
Complete the experience with a trip to the Guest Services Centre where guests can take a photo on a sled, watch video footage, enjoy the interactive displays, or stand on the podium.

Guided Venue Tour
A knowledgeable Track Host will lead your group experience at the Sliding Centre, providing an overview of sliding sports, the venue’s history, and venue operations. Journey up the private mountain access road used to transport the athletes’ sleds to the top start area and enjoy a breathtaking view of the 152 metre drop only found at the steepest track in the world. Complete the tour with a trip to the Guest Services Centre where guests can take a photo on a sled, watch video footage, enjoy the interactive displays, or stand on the podium.

Bobsleigh Ride: Sport Experience
The Bobsleigh Sport Experience is a unique and extreme ride on the fastest sliding track in the world. Following a comprehensive orientation session guests are shuttled to the start position, where three passengers are seated in each sled behind a professional pilot for an exhilarating ride. With sleds reaching approximate speeds of 135 km/hr, though the ride will last under a minute, the memories will last forever. This is an extreme ride with very high g-forces and not for guests with neck or back problems.

Skeleton Slide: Sport Experience
The Skeleton Sport Experience is a great way for guests of all ages and fitness types to enjoy an exhilarating ride at the Whistler Sliding Centre. Following a comprehensive orientation session guest are shuttled to the start position 1/3 of the way up the track for the first of the two rides a Skeleton Sport Experience offers. Reaching expected speeds of 100 km/hr, the adrenaline from your first run will keep you pumped up for round two. This thrill of a lifetime is not to be missed.

Whistler Olympic Park
Whistler Olympic Park was the site of the Nordic events for the Vancouver 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games. Surrounded by spectacular scenery and wilderness, this world class facility features five unique indoor meeting facilities, countless outdoor options, on-site parking, and a host of summer and winter activities.

Classic & Skate Skiing Programs
A great way to get started in either classic cross-country or skate skiing. Guests will learn about the equipment, how to get moving, climb, stop, and the best trails to ski in the park from a licensed instructor. Group programs offer a ratio of one instructor per eight participants.

Discover Biathlon
The Discover Biathlon program includes ski instruction in addition to range activities. This program is offered using both classic and skate skiing technique. This program is one of our most popular group activities as it offers the unique experience of learning an exciting sport at an Olympic venue.

Experience Biathlon
The Experience Biathlon program allows public to shoot at the biathlon range using authentic biathlon rifles but foregoes the skiing portion. With guidance from a qualified leader, guests will learn about the sport of Biathlon and test their marksmanship and skill with a traditional Biathlon rifle.
