The 2014/2015 Winter Sliding Season is fast approaching! High-Performance Athlete training is scheduled at the track for late October thru November.
The Winter Bobsleigh Programs will re-open to the public in December 2014!

The thrill of a lifetime!
Your winter Bobsleigh Sport Experience Program begins with an interactive safety orientation including helmet fitting, track etiquette, safety guidelines and a mock run. After the orientation you and your crew will be shuttled to the start position where you will meet the Whistler Sliding Centre (WSC) Track Crew and your professional Bobsleigh Pilot! The entire team will walk you through a final safety check and once given the green light, a WSC Track Crew member will secure the sled for take-off! With guidance from your professional pilot, you and two fellow participants are released for the run of your life. As you accelerate down the track, expect to reach your tenth and final corner (the famous Thunderbird corner!) at a speed of 125 km+/hr! The uphill outrun will slow the sled to a safe stop at the finish dock, where a Track Crew Member will assist you safely off the track.

Summer Tours:
Ride down the fastest track in the world...on wheels!
Driven by a trained Bobsleigh Pilot, four passengers will go through 10 corners including the famous Thunderbird Corner, reaching speeds of up to 80 kms an hour! But don’t worry, you’ll be provided with an orientation that also includes the history of the Whistler Sliding Centre as a 2010 Olympic Winter Games venue. The full experience will take about an hour, but the adrenaline rush will last days!

The cost of the Summer Bobsleigh Experience is $89.00+tax per person
Cancellation Policy:
We have a 7 day cancellation policy, whereby any cancellations within 7 days of your slide time would be fully non-refundable. Any cancellations outside of 7 days from your slide time would be refundable minus the administration fee.
Booking changes and amendments are subject to a $30 administration fee.
In the event that a session is cancelled (at the discretion of WSC) participants will have the choice of a full refund or re-scheduling.
Self-guided Interpretive Tour
Learn about the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games, the athletes and their stories on a self-guided interpretive tour of the Whistler Sliding Centre site. Pick up a map from the sign at the entrance to the venue and find out where you can stand on the Olympic podium, take a photo in an Olympic sled, and walk around Thunderbird Corner to the finish dock. Please be aware that areas around the track can be steep and slippery, appropriate footwear is advised, and keep an eye out for bears!
